Vegetarian & Vegan
Vegan:
A diet and lifestyle that excludes the use of animals or animal products for food, clothing or any other purpose. This includes leather, dairy, honey and eggs as well as meat, fish or poultry. The most common reasons for veganism are an ethical commitment regarding animal rights – particularly issues such as factory farming and animal testing. Other areas include the impact of animal farming practices on the environment, the health impacts on the human digestive system, and spiritual or religious reasons.
